Hendricks County has a flourishing arts scene that touches the lives of so many people in our communities. The Arts Council is committed to increasing the number of opportunities for people throughout our county to experience the life-enriching value of art.

Mill Creek Mural Project
The Mill Creek Mural Project is looking for a qualified artist(s) to install a mural on the Copper Top Customs building in Clayton, IN (4885 Iowa St., Clayton, IN). The subject matter for the mural will be based on community engagement work in the community, specifically at Mill Creek Elementary School.
General themes and topics will include welcomeness, inclusivity, and community. Artist(s) will be expected to take the general ideas and interests from the students and interpret them to create an original work of art.

Please note, artist will be required to cover all material and related expenses with the stipend listed above. The Mill Creek Mural Project team will cover any wall prep needs and lift expense.
