Art Camp Details:
When school is out, ART is in! During the summer months and school holidays, our studio is buzzing with busy hands, flying paint, falling glitter and the joy of artsy new discoveries!
Our fun and enriching programs educate, inspire and entertain your creative young artists.
All of our camps offer a wide variety of project topics and supplies that will spark their creativity and expose them to a stimulating mix of age appropriate art techniques each day.
For our die-hard campers who return week after week, we catalog all projects students complete and make every effort to avoid repeating projects.
In the summer, we have weekly and half day options available:
Monday-Friday 9a.m.-Noon, 1p.m.-4p.m. We also offer a FULL day combo (9a.m.-4p.m.) where students can bring their own sack lunch, and enjoy lunchtime at the studio!
Imagine combining your wildly imaginative children with impressive art supplies, phenomenal art teachers, oodles of fun and a dash of glitter! All you need to worry about is where you’re going to display your new art collection.
We strive to create a welcoming environment that fosters your child’s creativity and individuality, where new friendships blossom and kids get to collaborate with other campers. Each day, we plan a well-paced line up of projects, involving a wide variety of materials, subjects and art principals. Throughout the week, students could have the chance to explore decoupage, painting, drawing, chalk pastel, oil pastel, paper mache, collage and print making!
A short break halfway through each day allows for a healthy snack and a giggle break. Your budding artists are washed up and ready to go right at pick up! Be prepared as they will have slightly drippy projects in hand that they are beaming to tell you about!
So send us your hustling, bustling kids our way this summer! We jam pack oodles and doodles of creativity and fun into these camps. Your artist will leave with multiple eye-catching and exciting mixed media art projects they enjoyed creating!!
Our weekly rate for camp is $200 per camper.
Camps will be capped at 10 campers per session, so hurry up and register to make sure you get the session/dates that you need.

A little bit about the instructor:
My name is Heather, and I am the owner of Smokey Fireside Creations. I am a certified GOLDEN artist educator, and I have a passion for teaching my love of art to children. My husband and I live in Danville on a little farm with our three beautiful girls, 7 dogs, 4 cats, and 31 ducks. I am first aid and CPR certified, so that if any incidents should happen, I’ve got it covered! (But of course, we hope they don’t). I can’t wait to have your kids in camp!
